The Premium Package is the right choice for buyers who want a fully operational, professionally equipped growing environment from day one, with no additional sourcing required.
One meaningful structural difference between the two models is ventilation. The base 8 × 12 includes two automatic 2′ × 2′ roof vents with openers, compared to one in the Premium Package configuration. In the warmer months across Southern California, dual roof vents provide significantly better passive airflow through the 96 square feet of growing space — an important consideration when choosing between the two.

Buyer’s Notes — What to Know Before You Order
Base vs. Premium: If you want a fully equipped growing environment out of the box, the MONT 8 × 12 Premium Package is the better choice. The base model gives you the same structure with a clean slate interior — configure it yourself with the accessories that fit your specific growing method.
Dual vents advantage: Two automatic roof vents provide meaningfully better passive ventilation than one, particularly in Southern California summers. If heat management is a priority for your growing environment, this is a genuine advantage of the base model over the Premium configuration.
Ground preparation: A level, stable surface is required before assembly. Concrete pad, gravel base, or pavers are standard choices — ground prep is not included in the kit and is the buyer’s responsibility.
Permits & expansion: Check local building codes before installation. If you plan to add extension kits in the future, site the greenhouse with clearance at one or both ends before anchoring — extensions are significantly easier to plan for before the structure is in the ground.
