The 8 × 8 is MONT’s answer to a question most greenhouse manufacturers cannot answer well: how do you build a compact greenhouse that does not compromise on material quality, structural integrity, or feature set? Most smaller greenhouses cut corners on frame thickness, panel quality, or accessories to hit a lower price point. The MONT 8 × 8 does not. It uses the same U.S.-grade extruded aluminum frame with 40+ lbs more material than a typical import, the same 8mm twin-wall polycarbonate panels, and the same full Premium Package — just in a square footprint that fits where the 8 × 12 cannot.
At 64 square feet of growing space, the 8 × 8 is suitable for a serious hobby grower, a dedicated seed-starting and propagation operation, or a compact commercial planting setup on a constrained site. The 7-foot 6-inch peak height provides full standing headroom and the air volume needed for proper heat stratification — heat rises away from the growing zone rather than sitting at root level, keeping plant temperatures stable without constant manual ventilation.
The black electrostatic paint is lead-free, permanently bonded to the aluminum frame, and resistant to chipping, peeling, and corrosion through years of outdoor exposure. The automatic roof vent opener handles interior temperature regulation without a power connection or manual adjustment, opening as heat builds and closing as it dissipates. Expandable with 4-foot extension kits whenever growing demands outgrow the current footprint.

Buyer’s Notes — What to Know Before You Order
8 × 8 vs. 8 × 12: If your site can accommodate the 8 × 12, the extra 48 square feet of growing space is almost always worth it for serious growers. The 8 × 8 is the right choice when site dimensions, budget, or intended use genuinely call for a compact square format. Both carry the same frame quality, panel spec, and Premium Package.
Ground preparation: A level, stable surface is required before assembly begins. Concrete pad, gravel base, or pavers are common choices — ground prep is the buyer’s responsibility and is not included in the kit.
Heat management in a compact space: The 8 × 8’s smaller interior volume heats up faster in summer than the 8 × 12. The interior shade system and automatic roof vent are both more important in this format — they are included in the Premium Package for exactly this reason.
Permits & expansion planning: Check local building codes before installation. If you anticipate outgrowing the 8 × 8, site it with clearance for a 4-foot extension kit at one end — adding the kit is much easier before the structure is anchored than after.
